As seen through a night-vision device, Sgt. 1st Class Michael Ball leads U.S. airmen carrying a mock casualty into his waiting UH-60 Black Hawk medical evacuation helicopter during hot load training in southwest Asia, Feb. 28, 2014. Ball is a flight medic assigned to the Kentucky Army National Guard's Company C, 2nd Battalion, 238th Air Ambulance, 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade.
