Under the training of U.S. Marines, an Afghan soldier operates a Stryker recover system to pull a mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicle with simulated battle damage out of a ditch during vehicle recovery training on Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan's Helmand province, Feb. 23, 2014. U.S Marines have been working with Afghan soldiers to teach them basic vehicle maintenance and proper vehicle recovery to sustain continuous combat operations.
