Defense Secretary and Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs To Brief

Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel and Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. James Winnefeld will conduct a press briefing to discuss the recent Strategic Choices Management Review at 2:30 p.m. EDT today in the Pentagon Briefing Room (2E973).

A background briefing by senior officials from the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Joint Staff will immediately follow.

Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the River Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call 703-697-5131 for escort into the building.
