Army Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, departs New Hampshire Air National Guard headquarters on Pease Air National Guard Base, N.H., July 8, 2013. During his visit, Dempsey met with government and military leaders while also touring Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine.
