Army Staff Sgt. Jesse Mullinax swings across a pit during the Region 3 Best Warrior Competition at McCrady Training Center on Fort Jackson, S.C., May 1, 2013. Soldiers from 10 states and territories compete over four days for a place in the Army's Best Warrior Competition. Mullinax is assigned to the 218th Regiment, South Carolina Army National Guard.
