Flag Officer Assignment
The Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan W. Greenert announced today the following assignment: Rear Adm. (lower half) Peter Gumataotao, who has been selected for promotion to rear admiral, will be assigned as assistant deputy chief of naval operations for operations, plans, and strategy, N3/N5B, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C. Gumataotao is currently serving as commander, Carrier Strike Group Eleven, San Diego, Calif. |
