Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Arric Reed chants with the crowd while participating in the 36th annual Mikoshi parade in Yokosuka, Japan, Oct. 21, 2012. The Mikoshi parade is a Japanese festival where portable shrines are transported on the backs of participants symbolizing the transfer of deities from one shrine to another. Reed is assigned to the USS Curtis Wilber.
