The aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower passes Fort Monroe National Monument as the ship departs Naval Station Norfolk, Va., June 20, 2012. The Eisenhower is deploying as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group to support maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. Navy's 5th and 6th fleets areas of responsibility.
