Army Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, delivers the commencement address for his alma mater, John S. Burke Catholic High School, during ceremonies at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., June 9, 2012. Dempsey urged graduates of the school, located in Goshen, N.Y., to strive for excellence and serve in endeavors larger than themselves.
