Army Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Navy Adm. Samuel J. Locklear III, commander of U.S. Pacific Command, talk on Camp Smith, Hawaii, May 28, 2012. Dempsey arrived in Honolulu to begin a week focused on Asia-Pacific military-to-military engagement centered on the annual Asian security summit known as the "Shangri-La Dialogue" in Singapore.
