Army Chief of Staff Gen. Raymond T. Odierno attends the Ellis Island Medal of Honor award ceremony on Ellis Island in New York, May 12, 2012. Odierno was one of 107 Americans to receive the award, which recognizes citizens who have contributed to the national identity while preserving the values and heritage of their ancestors.
