Director, Defense Intelligence Agency Lt. Gen. Ronald L. Burgess Jr. testify at a hearing of the Senate Armed Services Committee on the on the current and future worldwide threats to the national security of the United States at 9:30 a.m. EST in room SD-G50, Dirksen Senate Office Building.

Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus; Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. James F. Amos; and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan W. Greenert testify at a hearing of the House Armed Services Committee on the fiscal 2013 National Defense Authorization Budget request from the Department of the Navy at 1 p.m. EST in room 2118, Rayburn House Office Building.

Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta hosts an honor cordon to welcome German Minister of Defense Thomas De Maiziere to the Pentagon today at 2 p.m. EST. The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the Pentagon River Parking Entrance only.
