AFPIMS 5.0 Development Update - Wednesday, November 14, 2017

AFPIMS customers:

 

DMA Public Web will perform maintenance and/or upgrades to AFPIMS on Wednesday November 14, 2017 beginning at 1800 ET. We anticipate this maintenance window will last two hours. The purpose is to update AFPIMS.

 

During the maintenance window, we do not expect your public websites to experience any outages; however, AFPIMS will be unavailable. Please ensure you have saved all of your work and that you are logged out of the system during this time frame.

Multiple Instances:

  • Projected to update Mosaic Links module to add last modified date and time. [All Instances]
  • Projected to update ArticleCS searching for related content by adding new Content Type and Sort by Relevance criteria. [All Instances]
  • Projected to fix bug with Shared Media Manager not showing cover photo if said photo is in draft mode within Edit Collection page. [All Instances]
  • Projected to updated Media Collection list: RSS feed format, specifically switching the username to display name field. [All Instances]
  • Projected to fix bug within Rotate module not showing image preview when editing or selecting content. [All Instances]
  • Projected to fix bug with Shared Media Manager not pulling documents via tags. [All Instances]
  • Projected to fix bug with Shared Media Manager not pulling images up when searching via VIRIN. [All Instances]
  • Projected to fix bug with DVIDS Media Player when choosing a playlist other than the default. [All Instances] 

 

USAF

  • Projected to fix bug with videos not showing up on Top Rotator module.
  • Projected to fix bug with E-pubs specifically title columns cutting words.
  • Projected to add new template for Slideshow module that is color-coordinated to Air Force skin and appears/functions like Marines and Army Slideshow templates.
  • Projected to update E-pubs to rename Search to Filter Results due to this field being treated as a filter in the results page.
  • Projected to fix bug with the size of the font to remain the same throughout the page without interference from Article module. 

 

USCG

  • Projected to add video quality selector to Rotator module when adding videos.

 

DGOV

  • Projected to enhance Article Dashboard card template.
  • Projected to add new ArticleCS content type and module templates for Special Reports.
  • Projected to fix bug with Mosaic Links showing a pink box on the home page.

 

USMC

  • Projected to modify landscape photos within ArticleCS to eliminate black bars on left and right of photo.
  • Projected to fix bug with bottom align property on home page to have all modules have the same height.
  • Projected to fix bug with breaks appearing after the dateline in articles.
  • Projected to fix bug with MARADMIN where cancellation notices are not showing in search when “Active” status is selected.

 

DOD

  • Projected to fix bug with Social Media Feeds module lowering the Twitter “follow us” link below Twitter icon vs. next to it.
  • Projected to fix an anomaly in the PV calculation for RC to AC scenarios for Military Pay Calculators.
