TSA to hold 9/11 remembrance event
WASHINGTON – On Tuesday, September 11, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials will host a special morning program to commemorate the events of September 11, 2001. The event will be held at TSA headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, and will feature remarks by DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, TSA Administrator David Pekoske and former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta. Additionally, TSA employees in attendance will retake their oath as they recommit themselves to their role in safeguarding the country.
