HSIN R3 Outage Resolved – Users Can Now Log On

UPDATE

We’re writing to keep you up to date on the resolution of this morning’s problem, and how you can continue to help us address it in the long run.

As you know, HSIN R3 users experienced significant issues today with logging on and system performance.

HSIN R3 is now up and running. HSIN Connect and Jabber also continue to be up and running. Users are now able to log on and access HSIN R3.

 

STEPS WE ARE TAKING AND HOW YOU CAN HELP

We know that the portion of our system that manages user logons had significant problems this morning.

Our engineers are conducting a thorough root cause analysis to get to the bottom of the problem.

In the coming days, we ask that you please continue to report any problems you observe with HSIN R3 to the HSIN Help Desk at HSIN-Helpdesk@hq.dhs.gov.

We will also update you in the coming days on the measures we will take to prevent these problems from ever happening again.
