Dear COI Admin Partner,

The following information is intended to keep you up-to-date on HSIN Release 3’s (R3) progress and provide guidance for you and your users.

v  HSIN Hosts Important New Cyber Security Effort

The Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Network Resilience (FNR) Division is utilizing HSIN R3 as a communication and collaboration tool for their Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Program.  The CDM Program will assist Federal Departments and Agencies in meeting their continuous monitoring and FISMA reporting requirements. The CDM Community of Interest (COI), named the CDM Portal, leverages the HSIN R3 environment to generate awareness of the CDM Program and for information sharing with government agencies. One of its features are Toolkits detailing the many benefits of the CDM program and explain how government agencies can participate. For more information about the CDM Program or the CDM Portal, please contact cdm.fnr@hq.dhs.gov.
