NFIP Emergency Adjuster Presentations
Presented by the National Flood Insurance Program
Hurricane Helene has caused significant damage to the states of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Kentucky. Since Hurricane Milton has the potential to further stress adjuster resources, FEMA will hold a virtual NFIP Emergency Adjuster Presentation for adjusters who have become inactive within the past 4 years.
Flood adjusters who did not attend an NFIP Claims Presentation in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 or 2024 may return to active status through June 30, 2025, by completing this emergency adjuster presentation. (To remain active beyond June 30, 2025, the adjuster must attend one of the approved 2025 NFIP adjuster presentations by that date.)
To receive an active FCN to adjust claims for the 2024 catastrophe season, adjusters are required to attend the entire NFIP presentation and respond to all poll questions. Additionally, any adjuster with a current conflict of interest must resolve the conflict to be considered for registration.
This presentation is solely for re-instatement of an expired 2020, 2021, 2022 or 2023 FCN. FEMA will not be accepting new applications or processing any FCN upgrades.
