APPLICATION PERIOD FOR THE FY 2021 STAFFING FOR ADEQUATE FIRE AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE (SAFER) GRANT IS NOW OPEN

The Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 SAFER Grant application period is now open and will close on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 5 p.m. ET. Start your application today by reviewing the FY 2021 SAFER Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) and associated tools posted on the FEMA website at www.fema.gov/grants/preparedness/firefighters/safer/documents

FY 2021 SAFER LIVE WEBINARS

FEMA will host live Adobe Connect webinars to provide an overview of the FY 2021 SAFER grant program. The application webinar is intended to outline important information on the SAFER program, what is new for 2021, program priorities, eligible costs, how to navigate the grant application, and tips for preparing a SAFER application. FEMA Preparedness Officers will be available to answer your questions.

FY 2021 AFG Application Development Webinars return January 4, 2022

The fiscal year (FY) 2021 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) application development workshop webinar is intended to provide information on the AFG program, what is new for FY 2021, and tips to assist the applicant in developing their application for all application types and activities.  Each session will run approximately two hours and provide tips to assist applicants in developing their narratives. These workshops will also provide an opportunity for applicants to ask questions and network with FEMA Grant Specialists, and other AFG applicants and recipients.
