FY2020 Assistance to Firefighters Grant – COVID-19 Supplemental Program Awards Announcement

FEMA is pleased to begin the release of the Fiscal Year 2020 Assistance to Firefighters Grant – COVID-19 Supplemental Program (AFG-S) awards! The first are being released today and will continue to roll out until all funding is exhausted.

This funding is part of the FY 2020 Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act and is available to fire service organizations nationwide to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Recipients will be notified through email and must log into the FEMA GO portal to review their award package and accept the award. Information on all AFG grant awards is posted on the AFG website at www.fema.gov/welcome-assistance-firefighters-grant-program and updated on a regular basis.
