Disaster Recovery Center in Albany to close as FEMA deadline passes

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – The state of Georgia/FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in the former Albany Police station will end operations Monday, March 27, at 7 p.m.

March 27 is also the deadline for those who suffered damage from the January tornadoes and flooding to register with FEMA for federal disaster assistance.

The center, at 1721 East Oglethorpe Blvd., is open the following hours:

  • Weekdays - 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 20-24
  • Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. on March 18 and 25;
  • Closed Sundays

Hours on Monday, March 27 will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
