CHICAGO – The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has released $767,323 in Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) funds to the Stark County Park District in Ohio for the mitigation of five flood-prone residential structures in the floodplain of the Zimber Ditch and the West Branch of Nimishillen Creek. These structures will be acquired and demolished.
