The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) has received notice of the following firefighter fatality:

Fire Department Chief: David Miles
Incident Description: Within 24 hours of responding to a motor vehicle accident with the South Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Department, Captain Jeffers passed away from a nature and cause of fatal injury still to be reported.
