The National Fire Protection Association Fire Protection Research Foundation has completed a comprehensive literature review, data analysis and gap assessment to determine what additional information is needed to validate the existing fire flow calculation methodologies. You can download a copy of this report from the NFPA's website.
The U.S. Fire Administration recommends everyone should have a comprehensive home fire protection plan that includes smoke alarms, fire sprinklers, and practicing a fire escape plan.
