USFA at the Fire-Rescue International Conference
Staff from the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) will attend the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) Fire-Rescue International (FRI) Conference in Chicago next week to present information about ongoing USFA outreach initiatives.
We will make these presentations at FRI:
- U.S. Fire Administrator Ernest Mitchell will address the General Session on Friday, August 16 at 8 a.m. about priority initiatives underway at USFA.
- Deputy U.S. Fire Administrator Glenn Gaines will present at the IAFC Metro Chiefs meeting on Friday, August 16 from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Marion Long will present “NFIRS: Nationwide Fire Data at Your Fingertips” on Thursday, August 15 from 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. in Room S405A.
- Bill Troup will present “U.S. Fire Administration: Emergency Responder Health and Safety Program Update” on Thursday, August 15 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Room S404BC.
USFA will be also be an exhibitor at this major fire service event. We invite you to stop by booth # 2014 for free public fire education outreach materials and to speak with our staff.
