The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) has received notice of the following firefighter fatality:

Incident Description: Chief Pittman fell ill while at the scene of a residential structure fire. Pittman went to the hospital and was ambulatory as he walked into the emergency room, but his condition worsened and he passed away a short time later from a cause still to be determined.

Funeral Arrangements: 03/10/2012 @ 1000hrs, Newman Funeral Home, 155 S Cosby ST, Centreville, MS.
