Less than half of American families have an emergency plan, but children can be powerful change agents in leading the movement (literally and figuratively) towards preparedness.

The United States Fire Administration recommends everyone should have a comprehensive fire protection plan that includes smoke alarms, residential sprinklers, and
practicing a home fire escape plan.
