Guide to I&N History Research Webinar:

August 28, 1:00 PM

The August Immigration and Naturalization History Research Webinar will review researching with INS Immigration Policy and Correspondence files (1906-1956). The files in this group of records, which was created by INS and now is available at the National Archives in Washington, DC, include correspondence documenting INS policies, programs, and activities during the first half of the 20th Century.  The webinar will include sample files, introduce the most useful finding aids, and suggest strategies for getting the most out your time at the Archives.

Because of the broad scope of topics included in the INS Immigration Policy and Correspondence files, this webinar is relevant to students, scholars, and other researchers interested in exploring any aspect of U.S. immigration history, 1906-1956.
