Beyond Labor Day, Coast Guard East District targets illegal charters as Operation Safe Voyage enforcement push continues year-round

Following an intensive enforcement surge across mid-Atlantic waterways over the Labor Day weekend, U.S. Coast Guard East District law enforcement crews conducted 114 safety boardings, terminated seven voyages including two active illegal passenger-for-hire operations.
