1. Due to minor Administrative error, REF (A) is hereby cancelled
and replaced with this ALCOAST.
2. This ALCOAST solicits volunteers to serve on the 2027 Coast Guard
Reserve Policy Board (CG RPB) and solicits submissions of policy
issues to be considered by the Board. The CG RPB is mandated by
REF (B), and is an important forum to ensure strategic-level matters
affecting the Reserve Component are brought to the awareness of the
highest levels of the Service.
3. Membership.
a. Voting membership of the CG RPB will consist of highly
qualified individuals of the Reserve and Active Components.
Membership must include a broad representation of Coast Guard
experience and skills.
b. To apply for Board membership, interested personnel should
submit an application utilizing Appendix B. of REF (C) to
ReservePolicy@uscg.mil by 10 OCT 2026.
4. Submissions.
a. Topic submissions must have a policy implication to be
considered by the Board.
b. While topic submissions are accepted year-round, those
received by 31 DEC 2026 will be prioritized for consideration
during the CG RPB's initial 2027 review period. The CG RPB will
announce the meeting schedule and format separately and may hold
additional meetings, as necessary, to review submissions received
throughout 2027.
c. Policy issues may be submitted by the following methods:
