SUBJ: SOLICITATION FOR GEICO MILITARY SERVICE AWARDS
1. The GEICO Military Service Awards Program recognizes and
honors one currently serving enlisted member from each of
the six Armed Services (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force,
Space Force and Coast Guard), and one enlisted member from
the National Guard. It pays tribute to their achievements
and contributions to their civilian and military communities
in two specific areas: off-duty accomplishments (community
involvement, volunteerism, etc.) and on-duty accomplishments
(acts of exemplary service, leading by example, etc.).
Selections prioritize a nominee's off-duty volunteer
activities and community impact, followed by their in-uniform
accomplishments.
2. Each recognized active duty/reserve and National Guard
recipient will receive a certificate to commemorate their
accomplishments, as well as a cash honorarium of $5,000 from
the GEICO Philanthropic Foundation.
3. Eligibility is open to all currently serving enlisted
service members (E-7 and below), Active and Reserve. Nominees
must have at least one year of service remaining after
30 DEC 2026. Previous GEICO Military Service Award
recipients are ineligible.
4. Nomination packages must include the following:
    a. Completed GEICO Military Service Award nomination form
located at:

    b. A high-resolution digital photo with head and shoulders
view of the nominee in Service Dress-Bravo without cover.
    c. A letter of endorsement from the first O-6 in
the chain of command or higher.
5. Complete packages shall be submitted with "GEICO MILITARY
SERVICE AWARD NOMINATION" in the subject line no later than
01 DEC 2026 to MCPOCG@uscg.mil

7. MCPOCG Phillip N. Waldron, Master Chief Petty Officer of the
Coast Guard (MCPOCG), sends.
8. Internet release is authorized.
