SUBJ: SELECTION OF THE ASSISTANT COMMANDANT FOR COMMAND, CONTROL,
COMMUNICATIONS, COMPUTERS, CYBER, AND INTELLIGENCE SYSTEMS (PEO-C5I)
1. I am pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Scott St. Pierre as
the Assistant Commandant for Command, Control, Communications,
Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence Systems (C5I).
2. The Assistant Commandant for C5I is responsible for the overall
acquisition and sustainment of USCG C5I systems and overseeing and
administering the functions of the Chief Information Officer (CIO)
for the United States Coast Guard.
    a. Mr. St. Pierre will provide executive level leadership for the
strategy, program direction and management, and resources management
of C5I, including the communications and electronic systems and
operations and information technology that enable Coast Guard
mission execution and business processes.
    b. Additionally, Mr. St. Pierre will manage and provide guidance
for the acquisition development, program management, and
recapitalization of a $1.5 billion C5I program to support the
Enterprise Mission Platform.
3. Mr. St. Pierre joins the U.S. Coast Guard's Senior Executive
Service after over 39 years of leadership experience spanning across
his active-duty time in the U.S. Navy and working both in the
private sector and as a civil servant. For the last 11 years,
Mr. St. Pierre has worked as an Executive with the Department of
Navy and NAVSEA supporting the acquisition, systems engineering,
and program management of information technology, information
systems, and cybersecurity capabilities. His full biography will be
