1. Hurricane season is underway and will continue through November.
All Coast Guard members, civilians, and their families should ensure
they are familiar with the resources available to support
preparedness and evacuation planning. This ALCOAST highlights key
travel and transportation references should evacuation travel become
necessary.
2. Military personnel can visit the Office of Military Compensation
and Travel Policy (CG-WMM-4) website for helpful information on
evacuation allowances and frequently asked questions. This
information will help you and your family be better prepared. Visit

or event which may require evacuation, to obtain correct travel
entitlement guidance.
