SUBJ: COAST GUARD PARTNERSHIP IN EDUCATION PROGRAM (PIE)
COMMAND BRIEFING REGISTRATION
1. Commanding Officers (COs), Officers in Charge (OICs), Executive
Officers (XOs), Command Senior Enlisted Leaders (CSELs) of Coast
Guard (CG) units are invited to attend a virtual informational and
support briefing on the Partnership in Education (PIE) Program.
Since 1991, the Coast Guard has supported hundreds of
partnered-schools in assisting thousands of students in communities
across our great nation.
2. Command-sponsored, partnership-based, and volunteer-driven, the
Coast Guard PIE Program enhances student wellbeing, academic
achievements, and career opportunities through partnerships across
the country between Coast Guard units and schools from elementary
through college.
3. The briefing will discuss the potential benefits of
participating in the PIE Program in collaboration with educators.
    a. In turn, this may increase employee morale; enhance
integration of Coast Guard, Reserve, and Auxiliary units;
improved community relations; and a broadened awareness of the
Coast Guard missions and related careers.
    b. Coast Guard units can choose to participate in the PIE Program
as a lead, supporting, or stand-alone unit.
4. The command-focused briefing will be held on July 23, 2026,
from 1400 to 1430 EST. A link to the briefing will be emailed to
all COs, OICs, and XOs who register. To register, click on the

5. A separate orientation and series of webinars for the
PIE Coordinators designated by COs/OICs will be announced
via a separate ALCOAST.
