Message from the Commandant
As we launch this inaugural newsletter, I am proud to report that the Coast Guard is more agile, capable, and responsive than we were a year ago.
This publication is designed to keep our Coast Guard stakeholders informed, connected, and engaged as we continue delivering results for the American people.
Driven by the continued implementation of Force Design 2028 and strengthened by a historic capital investment of nearly $25 billion through the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, we are better equipped than ever to secure our borders, facilitate commerce, and respond rapidly to any contingency.
In 2025, Coast Guard men and women delivered extraordinary results – achieving record-setting drug interdictions on the high seas while executing heroic rescues during catastrophic floods.
This year, we will harness this momentum and press forward with Force Design 2028 to deliver transformational change. Together, we will ensure the Coast Guard remains Semper Paratus – Always Ready – to meet the challenges of today and secure a safe and prosperous future the American people deserve.

Outstanding professionalism, work, and dedication keeping our Nation safe. Bravo Zulu Stone crew!
