SUBJ: RAPID INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT IMPLMENTATION TEAM FY26 EXECUTION PLAN
A. COMDT COGARD WASHINGTON DC 222016Z AUG 25/ALCOAST 364/25
1. Purpose. This Rapid Infrastructure Project Implementation Team
(RIPIT) update summarizes FY25 results and provides FY26 execution
direction to support and empower the Coast Guard workforce to
maximize their operational impacts.
2. Background. In FY25, in alignment with Force Design 2028, the
Chiefs Mess and CG-SHORE led RIPIT to deliver measurable, service-
wide results to improve living and working conditions for our
workforce.
    a. In just 39 days, RIPITs delivered results at speed and scale -
identifying, developing, and executing over $26 million to complete
626 projects to improve habitability and reinforce safety,
readiness, and sustainment.
    b. The campaign produced visible improvements and demonstrated
what is possible when the CPO Mess creates a collective sense of
urgency, and operational bias for action, teamwork, and disciplined
execution come together.
    c. In FY26, we will continue to build on that success and
identify opportunities to expand the campaign's scope.
3. FY26 Execution Direction.
    a. RIPIT remains CPO led and focused on rapid, meaningful
improvements to member living and working conditions while building
a scalable execution model for sustained habitability outcomes in
FY26 and beyond.
    b. The Chiefs Mess and CG-SHORE will guide RIPIT to continue to
drive habitability improvements consistent with the initial guidance
as outlined in REF (A).
    c. Projects will be executed through contracting mechanisms and
support from LOGCOM and CG-SHORE.
