SUBJ: COMMUTER TRANSIT SUBSIDY BENEFITS PROGRAM RATE INCREASE
A. IRS Revenue Procedure 2025-32
B. Commuter Transit Subsidy Benefits Program, COMDTINST 5382.1A
1. Per REF (A), beginning January 1, 2026, the maximum monthly
fare benefit under the Commuter Transit Subsidy Benefits Program
will increase from $325 to $340. All other aspects of the Commuter
Transit Subsidy Benefits Program remain in effect as outlined
in REF (B).
2. Mass Transit Subsidy participants who are eligible for an
increase in their transit benefit subsidy should contact their
designated Fare Media Approving Official and Local Program Manager.
