SUBJ: SOLICITATION FOR VOLUNTARY EDUCATION PROGRAM AWARDS
1. Nomination packages for the 2025 Coast Guard Education Services
Officer of the Year (ESOY) and the 2025 Inspirational Student of
the Year (ISOY) are now being accepted through 15 JAN 2026. ESOY and
ISOY selectees will be announced during Coast Guard Day at the
Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) Annual Conference,
MAR 2026.
2. ESOY: ESOs are vital command resources that devote a significant
amount of time helping our workforce pursue professional and
educational goals. ESOY awards recognize the two exceptional members
(Full Time and Collateral Duty) of this dedicated cadre of service
providers.
3. ISOY: The ISOY award recognizes the student who clearly
demonstrated sustained high standards of academic proficiency and
served as a role model in off-duty educational accomplishment.
Nominees should reflect the Coast Guard's core values of honor,
respect, and devotion to duty.
4. The ESOY and ISOY award period is from 01 JAN through
31 DEC 2025. Nomination packages, along with a written endorsement
from the member's Commanding Officer or first O-5/GS-14 in the
chain of command, shall be emailed to Donna.J.Duellberg@uscg.mil.
All nomination packages are due NLT 15 JAN 2026.
