SUBJ: SCHEDULE OF FY26 SUPERVISOR OF CIVILIANS TIER II CONVENINGS
1. This ALCOAST announces the FY26 convening dates for the
Supervisor of Civilians (SUPCIV) Tier II Facilitated Online Training
course (502799).
2. This one-time introductory course is for all new military and
civilian supervisors who oversee civilian employees. It also
supports development requirements for all new civilian Supervisors,
Managers and Executives as required by 5 CFR 412.202(b).
    a. Civilian Supervisors of civilians who are new to the Coast
Guard must take this course within the first 12 months of
employment, regardless of previous supervisory experience. 
    b. Civilian Supervisors of civilians who have become first-time 
supervisors while working within the Coast Guard must take this
course within 12 months of becoming a supervisor. 
    c. Civilian Supervisors of civilians required to take this course
that are beyond the 12-month requirement are encouraged to complete
it as soon as possible. 
3. Convening dates are listed below, including two convenings with
late start times. Please work with your Unit Training Officer to
secure your attendance.
    a. SUPCIV Tier II FY26 Convening Dates:  
          (1) January 12-16, 2026
          (2) February 2-6, 2026
          (3) March 23-27, 2026
          (4) April 27-May 1, 2026  
          (5) May 11-15, 2026 
          (6) May 18-22, 2026
          (7) June 8-12, 2026
          (8) June 22-26, 2026  
          (9) July 13-17, 2026  
          (10) August 17-21, 2026 
          (11) August 31-September 1, 2026  
          (12) September 14-18, 2026
    b. The following convenings will be held from 1200 until
approximately 2030 EST to accommodate those who work outside of a
reasonable Eastern Standard Time zone course start time (e.g., those
working on the West Coast of the United States, Alaska and other
places abroad).
          (1) March 9-13, 2026 
          (2) July 27-31, 2026
    c. Dates are subject to change. Please check the Leader
Development Branch (FC-LDR) website for the most up to date list of
convenings.
