SUBJ: HALF-MASTING OF NATIONAL ENSIGN
A. U.S. Coast Guard Regulations 1992, COMDTINST 5000.3B
1. In accordance with Title 4 U.S.C. Section 7 and REF (A),
in honor and tribute to the memory of Richard Bruce Cheney,
the 46th Vice President of the United States and 17th Secretary
of Defense, the flag of the United States shall be flown at
half-staff beginning immediately until sunset on the day of
interment.
2. The National Ensign shall be flown at half-mast on all
Coast Guard buildings, grounds, and vessels not underway.
3. Internet release is authorized.
