1. We are pleased to announce the winners of the CY 2024 Excellence
in Customer Service Awards, described in REFs (A) and (B).
Congratulations to the following award recipients, organized by
category:
     a. Large Unit: Base Boston
     b. Small Unit: U.S. Coast Guard Incident Management Assist Team
     c. Teams:
        (1) Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron's Personnel and
Support Department
        (2) SECTOR Los Angeles-Long Beach Engineering Support Division
        (3) BASE San Juan Maintenance Augmentation Team
        (4) Industrial Production Facility South Portland
     d. Individuals--Junior (listed alphabetically by last name):
        (1) HS1 Renee Esham, Health Services Technician First Class,
Air Station Ventura
        (2) Ms. Christine A. Smith, Mission Planning Analyst, Force
Readiness Command
     e. Individuals--Senior (listed alphabetically by last name):

2. Due to the high volume of nominations this year, three CY24
CSA Boards were established to review the nominations, as follows:
     a. The first CSA Board consisted of the following people:
CDR Drew Minniti (DCS-8), Ms. Ariana Mohnke (DCS-5),
Ms. Jolene Scarlett (IPF New Orleans), and Ms. Lori Pastro (DCS-5).
This group reviewed and scored 32 nominations in the Individual
category for junior- and senior-level personnel.
     b. The second CSA Board consisted of the following people:
CDR Andrew Pritchett (USCGC ARGUS), CDR Morgan Way (FC-Lms), and
Mr. Ray Lemmon (DCS-5). The group reviewed and scored 31 nominations
(i.e., 7 for Large Units, 5 for Small Units, and 19 for Teams).
     c. The third CSA Board consisted of the following senior leaders:
CAPT Robert Mohr (DCS-5), Mr. Eric Johnson (LOG-8), and
CMC Michael Ingham (DCS CMC). This group reviewed the top
22 nominations selected by the first two Boards and determined which
nominees to recommend to the Deputy Commandant for Systems (DCS) and
the Deputy Commandant for Personnel (DCP) for final review and
approval.
3. The winning units, teams, and individuals will be recognized by
senior leadership and presented with a plaque. Highlights of their
accomplishments will appear in several communication products,
