ARRANGEMENTS FOR RADM MICHAEL W. RAYMOND

1. This ALCOAST announces the visitation and funeral arrangements
for Rear Admiral (RADM) Michael (Joe) W. Raymond and directs the
half-masting of the National Ensign in his honor.
2. By order of the Acting Commandant in accordance with REF (A),
the National Ensign shall be flown at half-mast from sunrise to
sunset on November 3, 2025, in honor of RADM Michael W. Raymond.
The National Ensign shall be flown at half-mast on all Coast Guard
buildings, grounds, and vessels not underway.
3. As announced in REF (B), RADM Raymond passed away on Saturday,
July 19, 2025, in Falls Church, Virginia, at the age of 56. His full

4. A visitation for RADM Raymond will be held at the National
Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042 on Sunday,
November 2, 2025, from 1600-1800. All family, friends, and
Coast Guard members are welcome to attend.
5. A memorial service for RADM Raymond will be held at the
Memorial Chapel at Joint Base Fort Myer, VA on Monday,
November 3, 2025, at 1045. Attendees must arrive no later than 1015.
The service will be immediately followed by a procession to his
burial at Arlington National Cemetery. All family, friends, and
Coast Guard members are welcome to attend the service and interment.
6. Following RADM Raymond's interment, all family, friends, and
Coast Guard members are invited to attend a lunch reception at
Patton Hall, 214 Buffalo Soldier Ave, Fort Myer, VA 22211, on
Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall. Please RSVP to CDR Samuel Danus at
Samuel.M.Danus@uscg.mil by October 24, 2025, if you plan to attend
the reception.
