1. This ALCOAST solicits volunteers to serve on the 2026 Coast Guard
Reserve Policy Board (CG RPB) and solicits submissions of policy
issues to be considered by the Board. The CG RPB is mandated by
REF (A), and is an important forum to ensure strategic-level matters
affecting the Reserve Component are brought to the awareness of the
highest levels of the Service.
2. Membership.
a. Voting membership of the CG RPB will consist of highly
qualified individuals of the Reserve and Active Components.
Membership must include a broad representation of Coast Guard
experience and skills.
b. To apply for Board membership, interested personnel should
submit an application utilizing Appendix B. of REF (B) to
ReservePolicy@uscg.mil by 31 October 2025.
3. Submissions.
a. Topic submissions must have a policy implication to be
considered by the Board.
b. Topic submissions are accepted year-round.
c. Policy issues may be submitted by the following methods:
