Coast Guard Cutter Hamilton holds Change of Command Ceremony in Panama City

The crew of U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Hamilton (WMSL 753) held a change of command ceremony Wednesday in Panama City, as Capt. John B. McWhite relieved Capt. Justin M. Carter as commanding officer.
The Coast Guard Cutter Hamilton held a change of command ceremony in Panama on July 9, 2025. During the ceremony, which was presided over by Vice Adm. Nathan Moore, the commander of Coast Guard Atlantic Area, Capt. Justin M. Carter (left) was relieved by Capt. John B. McWhite (right).
