1. REF (A) directs the Coast Guard to align with DoD in the
implementation of REF (A). Pursuant to court order, DoD is
enjoined from implementing REFs (A) through (D). In alignment
with DoD, the Coast Guard is pausing implementation of REF (A).
REF (F), which paused all new accessions for individuals with a
history of gender dysphoria, as well as all unscheduled,
scheduled, or planned medical procedures associated with
affirming or facilitating a gender transition for Service
members, is hereby canceled pending further direction.
2. The Presidential Directive Implementation Team for Personnel
(PDIT-P) SharePoint site below hosts FAQs for all Executive
Orders impacting Coast Guard personnel for which OPM and DHS
have issued guidance. Personnel should check these FAQs
frequently as they are continuously updated. Direct any
additional Executive Order questions to PDIT-P@uscg.mil.
