1. This ALCOAST announces that the following applicants have been
selected as Coast Guard nominees to attend the 2025-2026 MIT Seminar
XXI program. Primary list is in alphabetical order:

2. This year's pool of 27 highly qualified applicants included 25
military and two civilian submissions. The selection process was
extremely competitive; I commend all those who applied and
congratulate those nominated.
3. Seminar XXI is a prestigious educational program for 75 senior
military officers, government officials, and industry executives
in the national security policy community. The program's goal is
to equip rising military officials and civilian executives with the
multidimensional analytic skills needed to understand foreign
relations and shape effective policy options for the United States.
4. Selected nominees will be contacted by COMDT (CG-0923) regarding
further steps for direct application to MIT. MIT will notify the
Coast Guard in mid-summer of its final selections.
