SUBJ: UPDATE OF EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AND ANTI-DISCRIMINATION/ANTI-
HARASSMENT POLICY STATEMENTS
A. Executive Order of January 20, 2025: Defending Women From Gender
Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal
Government
1. In order to ensure full compliance and alignment with REF (A),
the Coast Guard's Equal Opportunity and Anti-Discrimination/
Anti-Harassment Policy Statements have been updated. The Coast Guard
remains committed to ensuring a workplace free from discrimination
or harassment of any kind. We all must have the courage to act if we
observe any words or actions that do not align with our core values
of Honor, Respect, and Devotion to Duty. Speaking up about even
small deviations from our core values prevents unlawful
discrimination or harassment from taking root in our workplaces.
2. Commanders, Commanding Officers, Officers in Charge, Assistant
Commandants and Directors of Staffs are charged with fostering
climates consistent with these policy statements. Read the policy
statements to all hands and ensure the proper posting and
dissemination. Leadership must continue to model and communicate
these expectations on a routine basis. Commands may access the
policy statements at:

3. The Coast Guard Civil Rights Directorate and the Anti-Harassment
Program Management Office (AHPO) are available to provide guidance
and assist leadership in effectuating a discrimination-free work
environment. Accordingly, all commands are encouraged to contact a
Civil Rights Service Provider (CRSP) for all EO and Anti-
Discrimination matters, and the AHPO for all Anti-Harassment
matters, to include training requests. A listing of CRSPs and AHPO
