1. This ALCOAST provides the guidance and procedures for routing,
approval, and central tracking of Limited Duration Telework in
Extraordinary Circumstances as outlined in REFs (A) and (B).
2. The member/employee initiates the process by producing a
memorandum through their chain of command to their First Flag or SES
providing a detailed explanation of the extraordinary circumstance
and plan for addressing said circumstance if the request is
approved.
3. If the First Flag or SES approves the request, the member/
employee will complete a Telework Agreement (Form CG-5330) IAW
REF (C) and route through the normal chain of command for approval
IAW the approved Flag/SES endorsement.
4. Once the member/employee has an approved First Flag/SES memo and
a signed Telework Agreement, the member/employee is required to file
these with PDIT-P through the online reporting tool located at:
