Programs And Preferencing
B. ​OPM Memo of January 21, 2025, Initial Guidance Regarding
DEIA Executive Orders
1. To ensure full compliance with REFs (A) and (B), the following
is effective immediately.
2. The following directives and their associated programs are
hereby cancelled. Any pending associated activities shall
immediately cease:
     a. ​Diversity and Inclusion Education and Awareness Program,
COMDTINST 5360.1;
     b. ​Leadership and Diversity Councils, COMDTINST 5350.9A;
     c. ​U.S. Coast Guard Affinity Group Program, COMDTINST 5350.10;
     d. ​U.S. Coast Guard Diversity Outreach Program; and
     e. ​U.S. Coast Guard Academy Diversity and Inclusion Action
Plan 2024-2026.
