UNIFORMED SERVICES AND CIVILIAN AWARDS
1. Nominations are now open for the 2025 Federal Asian Pacific
American Council (FAPAC) Uniformed Services and Civilian Awards.
All Coast Guard active duty, reserve, and civilian employees are
eligible to be nominated for the respective awards. The deadline
to submit a nomination package to the USCG Civil Rights Awards
Program is 19 February 2025.
2. Ideal nominees are those who have made significant contributions
to the advancement of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and
Pacific Islanders (AANHPI) throughout the military and Federal
workforce. There is no requirement for nominees to be a member of
the USCG-FAPAC affinity group to be eligible. The performance period
for consideration is Fiscal Year 2024 (Oct 1, 2023 to Sept 30, 2024)
or Calendar Year 2024 (Jan 1 to Dec 31, 2024). For full details of

3. Commanding Officers, Officers-in-Charge, Supervisors, and peers
are encouraged to nominate deserving individuals for these awards.
Recognizing members of the Coast Guard workforce for civil rights
awards is an opportunity to celebrate achievements, inspire and
motivate others to strive for excellence, and is an investment in
our people that can create a ripple effect of positive change.
4. For questions or assistance in completing a nomination package,
please contact USCGCivilRightsAwards@uscg.mil.
5. COMDT (CG-00H) will send all nominations to FAPAC, which will
make the final selections and notify individuals and nominating
officials. An ALCOAST will also be published announcing the
winners.
