SUBJ: PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS OF USPHS COMMISSIONED OFFICERS

Officers Detailed to the Coast Guard, COMDTINST 6010.5B
1. This ALCOAST provides an update to REF (A) and submission of the
Commissioned Officers' Effectiveness Report (COER) which is used in
reporting on all USPHS officers.
2. Paragraph 13.b.(2)(a) the table is updated and will now read as
follows:
    a. The row beginning COMDT (CG-11) staff is deleted in its
entirety and replaced as follows:
        (1) Assignment- COMDT (CG-1K) Division Staff; Rater-
Officer's Supervisor; Reviewing Official- Supervisor's Rater.
3. These policy changes will be incorporated into the next
revision of REF (A), which will be released within the next year.
4. This message will be cancelled on 20 DEC 2025.
